blog publishing toolMany freelance writers looking to make extra cash have explored more than one blog publishing tool. Unfortunately, it's not easy to make a significant amount of money unless you choose the right blog publishing tool. There are at least three that you should avoid if you want to make more than fifty dollars a year.

The first of these unprofitable ventures is called Helium. I joined Helium over a year ago. I've submitted more than one hundred short articles. I earn a cent each time somebody reads one of them. My total earnings with Helium so far amounts to around fifty dollars. Perhaps four years from now I will have earned a reasonable wage for my efforts there. Another one to avoid is Hub Pages. The only money you make with this blog publishing tool is through Google AdSense. Keep away from MyLot, too. This venture claims to reward you for adding content to the website and joining in discussions. What they don't tell you is that to earn just one dollar, you have to add content for several hours.

If you want to make more money than a sweatshop worker from an impoverished country, look for a blog publishing tool that pays fair wages. I learned the hard way that spending your day writing 2,000 words of content for somebody else is a waste of time unless they reward you with decent payment.
